Submission Deadline
November 10, 2026
Create and submit a GIS-based map that uses location and spatial data to communicate an idea, reveal an insight, explore a challenge, or tell a meaningful story. Your map may focus on any topic or location, including environment, cities, transportation, infrastructure, climate, biodiversity, communities, culture, business, or another subject where geography plays an important role.
When submitting your work, please provide a Map Title and a short Map Description explaining what the map shows, the idea behind it, and the key message you would like the viewer to understand. Upload your final map as a JPG, PNG, or TIF file with a maximum file size of 25 MB.
All eligible submissions will be reviewed by a panel of three independent judges who are not affiliated with GEOVIBE. Entries will be evaluated based on the quality of the cartographic design and use of mapping principles, the strength and relevance of the chosen theme or story, and the creativity and visual character of the final map.
The winning map will be announced during GIS Day Armenia 2026 on November 18, and the winner will receive a special prize.
